The Early Music Museum Lectures
Larry Keith, Head of the Conservation Department at the National Gallery in London and also involved in prestigious restorations in the Netherlands as an advisor, is on a first-name basis with Leonardo da Vinci and Rubens. In his spare time he plays the lute. He gives us an exclusive insight into the summit of the world of conservation and restoration. And he observes from his specialism, the discipline called early music. What can we, as a music sector obsessed with heirlooms from the past, learn from our colleagues in the museum world?
