Contre le Temps
It will be a unique radio play, this visit to the twelfth and thirteenth-century composers of Notre-Dame. Their groundbreaking music remains shrouded in mystery. How fast was the music sung? How much was improvised? With medieval polyphony and Gregorian melodies, Contre le Temps, made up of four alumni of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, share their creative quest to discover a possible past.
