Fringe: Ensemble UPS!
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
Lucie Krajčírovičová and Johanna Unterpertinger form Ensemble UPS!. They met during their studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (AT) and have played together in various settings already. Since 2023, they have been playing together as a duo more intensively. Over time, they discovered their shared love for music of the Renaissance and French, German and Italian Baroque as well as their passion of experimenting with and trying out different concert concepts. The context and history of pieces and composers play a big role in their preparation of programmes, also they constantly search for different sound colours and qualities through using different instruments. With each piece they play, they want to tell a unique story which they can experience together with the audience.
