Fringe: Sine Sole Sileo
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
Sine Sole Sileo is a duo formed by Spanish recorder player and vocalist Irene Sorozábal Moreno and Cretan harpsichord player Katerina Orfanoudaki. Sorozábal is based in Amsterdam, sings in Capella Amsterdam and Nederlands Kamerkoor, and plays recorder in The Royal Wind Music. Orfanoudaki is currently a member of the Sweelinck Baroque Orchestra of the Amseterdam Conservatory. Their shared interest in historical informed performance practice, as well as in contemporary music practices and musical improvisation brought the two musicians together in this duo.
